Private Chef · Portland, Oregon

Chez VousPrivate Chef in Portland · From $115/Guest

A Loire-born, Michelin-trained private chef cooking French dinners in Portland homes since 2018. One chef in your kitchen. One menu written for the season. Three to seven courses, plated tableside.

One chef. One region. Your table.

A private chef in Portland is not a caterer with a smaller invoice. It is a chef in your kitchen for one evening: shopping the morning of, cooking three to seven courses while you and your guests stay at the table, plating each course in front of you, and leaving the kitchen the way it was found. Antonin Colas was born in the Loire Valley, trained in a Michelin-starred kitchen in France, and has cooked privately in Portland homes since 2018.

Most evenings he cooks for four to twelve people. Anniversaries, birthdays, business dinners, a Friday with friends, a quiet Tuesday because the year called for it. The menu is written for the season and the people sitting down, not pulled off a shelf.

The only chef in Portland with this program.

Antonin's brothers make wine in the Loire. The pairing program puts each course next to one Loire bottle and one Willamette bottle of the same varietal: same grape, different ground. Chenin blanc from Vouvray next to Eola-Amity Riesling. Cabernet franc from Saumur-Champigny next to Yamhill-Carlton pinot. The argument is on the table; you taste it.

From $115 per guest.

Three menus by format: Le Marché (3 courses, market-driven), La Table (5 courses, signature), Le Menu Dégustation (7 courses, full tasting). $1,000 event minimum. Six-guest minimum on standard formats; smaller intimate evenings are booked as Le Menu Dégustation pour Deux at $1,200 flat. See the dinners page for the full breakdown.

Four ways Antonin cooks for Portland.

À bientôt.
